Rosie brings her Iwi grassroots knowledge and lived experience of working beside her people.  Rosie is fully aware of the needs amongst her whānau , hapu and Iwi and will always strongly advocate for whānau  needs and aspirations.  

 

Rosie was part of the establishment of the Iwi settlement entity for Te Aupouri, under the terms of the Waitangi Tribunal. 

 

Rosie’s governance experiences are various as Chair, Trustee and Treasurer roles for local Rugby Football Sports Clubs, Marae, Kōhanga Reo and Kura Kaupapa.

 

Rosie’ s aspiration is for Iwi first and foremost, and that Te Hiku Hauora is providing the best healthcare we can for Te Hiku Whānau .  That we are providing a pathway for tamariki who aspire to work within the healthcare industry,  and the organisation helps them to achieve their goals and become an asset for nga iwi o Muriwhenua. In addition to ensuring Te Hikutanga is front and centre.
